Blood

Blood :-

These are red, Viscous , Somewhat Viscous, Vascular Connective Tissue , Which Having Mixture of organic & Inorganic Complex

# Points :-

- Blood Are 5 Times More Viscous Than Water
- Blood Is Slightly Heavier Than Water, It's Specific Gravity is about 1.057 in Male & 1.053 In Female
- Oxygenated Blood seem red In Colour
- De-oxygenated Blood Seems Purple In Colour
- Haematology :-
Study Of blood
- Blood Always measure in Litre's

# Composition :-

~ There Are Two Main Constituent Of Blood Are :-
* Blood Plasma & * Blood Corpuscles
~ Blood Plasma Faint yellow in colour
~ Blood Plasma Form 60% Of Blood Volume
~ Blood Plasma Water Content About 90-92%
~ Blood Plasma Inorganic Salts = 1-2%
~ Blood Plasma Plasma Protein = 6-8% (By These pressure are generated which causes Blood pressure )
~ Blood Plasma other organic Components Food material = include all type of amini acid , fatty acid , triglyceride, Glycose & Vitamin

@ Some Term Related To Blood :-

- Normal Sugar Level In Blood = 80-120 mg/100ml of blood
* If Sugar Level Increase Then Condition = Hyperglycemia
* If Sugar Level Decrease Then Condition = Hypolycemia
- Septicemia = Bacteria In Blood = infection
- Ureamia = Excess amount of Urea In Blood 70-30 mg/100 ml of blood
- Creatinine = Body Some Waste In Blood , some waste also there of uric acid, enzyme , harmone , antibodies & gasseous

@ FUNCTION OF BLOOD PLASMA :-

- Transportation :-
Transportation of many things as
i. Gasseous
ii. Waste
iii. Harmone
iv. Urea
- Plasma Help in Maintaining Hameothermy (body temp.)
- Plasma Also help in Maintaining Haomeostatis (Body fluid Concentration)
- pH Constancy Of Body also Maintain by blood plasma
- Plasma also help in Blood Clotting By fibrinogen & Prothrombrin
- Plasma also provide immunity By Gemma-Globulin (Ig-G, Ig-A, Ig-D, Ig-E, Ig-M)
- Osmotic Pressure & Tension also Maintain by plasma

Note :- Ig of albumin Hold 20ml Of Water

- Plasma also act as Middle man & Act as tissue fluid for exchange of body cell
- Plasma also help in transportation of lipid
Note :-
ɑ- lipoprotein Help in Transportation of Thyroxine & Vitamin B-12
β-lipoprotein Transport insulin of Vitamin -A,D,E,K & Chylomicron
- Plasma Also help in Transportation of mineral like :-
* Transportation of Transferrin Globulin Transport Iron (Fe)
* Transportation Of Ceruloplasmin Globulin Carry Copper
Note :-
Protein Present In Plasma Called Propertin

@ BLOOD CORPUSCLES :-

These Are Called Corpuscles because They are Small In Size
1. R.B.C = Red Blood Corpuscles
2. W.B.C = White Blood Corpuscles
3. Blood Platelets

@ Shape :-

In Animal Shape of Corpuscles are :-
~ Oval, Biconvex & Nucleated (in Fish & Frog Nucleated RBC Present)
In Mammals Shape Of Corpuscles Are :-
~ Circular, Biconcave & Non-nucleated (Except Camel & Ilama =having nucleated RBC)
B'coz During mature Nucleus of lost for better transportation of Oxygen
# E.S.R = ErythroCyte Sedementary Rate

# Blood Clotting Time :-

Total time In Which Blood Coagulate

# In Haemophilic Patient = Blood never coagulate B'coz In These person 8,9, 11 Clotting factor absent , depending upon type of haemophilia
# In foaetus Number of Erythrocytes(RBC) More Than Adult
# SpheroCytosis :-
Sometime Biconcave Cavity Of RBC lost & Become Spherical In Size (Found In Rat Deer)
# Haemopoisis = Formation Of blood
