EMPLOYMENT  GROWTH

@ Some Basic concepts :-

* Worker :-

    these are those individual who doing specific work for an organisation as a results of getting money

* Workforce :-

         groups of people who as worker engaged in doing economic activities , these are group of those person who are actually working

* Types Of Worker :-

           various type of worker are found , by which they divided into categories are

i) Self Employed :-

        these are those individual who set up their own business or use their professionalism skill to give any services

ii) Hired workers :-

       these are those group of person who are hired by some organisation , by which an organisation performed specific work , these are further divided into 2 categories :-
- Casual Workers :-
      these are those employes who are are not hired on permanent basis
- Regular Workers :-
     These are those employes who hired by organisation on permanent bases

* Labour supply :-

       these are group of those workers those hired by organisation in particular wage range

* Labour Force :-

         these refer to group of people who are willing to work but cannot get work

* Rate of unemployement :-

      refer to number percentage of unemployed person / labour force

* Workspace participation :-

            percentage of total worforce by total population

@ Workforce in india :-

 - Around 70 % workforce came from rural areas
- Mostly Man acquire work force in india than female
- Women account 1/3 workforce in rural area than than urban where is about 1/5

@ Workforce participation rate :-

* In urban area there about 34% , whereas in rural these are 42%
* Man participation in urban area are about 52% , whereas in rural area is about 53%
* Women participants in urban area about 14% , while in rural area about 30%
* Overall participants in country about 40%, so overall participants rate in rural areas is higher than urban area
* Partcipants rate of women is higher in rural area than urban area

@ Self -employed worker participants :-

 - As in urban area 42% worker are self employed
- As in rural area 56% worker are self employed
- By overall population 51% of total men and 56% of total female are self employed

@ Distribution Of Workforce by Industry :-

                There Are Categorized into 3 Main sector which are
i) Primary sector include 60% Of distribution in Which 77 in rural and 10% In Urban area = there are deal with Agriculture , Forestry, Manufacturing , Fishing , manufacturing , Contruction etc
ii) Secondary Sector include 17% oF distribution  in which 11% are from rural and 31% are from urban , theese are those who Which deals with Manufacturing , contruction like projects
iii) Tertiary Sector include 23% Of distribution in which 12% is fromrural and 59% from urban area = These may deal include Trade, transport and storage etc

@ Jobs growth :-

       these is defined as a situation in which there is overal;l acceleration of growth in GDP are seen

@ Casualisation :-

      these is defined as a condition in which casually hired workers tends to grow overtime

@ Formal Sector :-

       these are mainly include private and public sector enterprises which they are in organised form

@ Informal sector :-

      these are unorganised sector which include private sector enterprises

@ Unemployement :-

        these are typically those type of situation where all willing person not find suitable jobs for them

@ Types:-

- Open type :-
     willing person not get any work so he became full time unemployed
- Frictional type :-
    temporary unemployed person, who may be demand  for better service as strike period or other reason
- Structural type :-
     these may occured due to decline in demand for product in particular industry
- Seasonal Type :-
      these are seasonal umemployement for those person who deals with seasonal product like ice-cream, wollens etc
- Disguised type :-
       these is due to growing demand to particular field creates more preesure result in accordingly less productivity creates umemployement

@ Areas Wise Unemployement :-

* Rural Unemployement :-
          As estimate about 70% india's population lives rural areas where three type of unemployement are seen
- Open type :-
  where willing person not found jon
- Seasonal umemployement :-
       here willing person only get work when their is their productivity maximum , rather than in other season they became umemployed
- Disguised unemployement :-
          here worker are apparentle employed but their marginal productivity is zero
* Urban unemployement :-
        these are those condition which occured in urban area are
- Industrial unemployement :-
           industries with market demand got many worker but in low wages creates umemployement
- Education based unemployement :-
         these creates umemployement in such a manner that low literate people choosen at last than more literate , these cause umployement also
- Technological based umemployed also seems in urban area are because many of people can't update their skill accordance to time so they preferred at last

@ Measurement of unemployement :-

         government introduce two main ways to determine unemployent are
- Decade census report based
- By National Sample Survey

@ Causes Of unemployement :-

* Literacy difference
* Undeveloped Mind
* Less Opputunity
* Same Thinking
* Lack Financial Resources
* Poverty
* Social Reason
* Regional imbalance sometime

@ Unemployement Preventive Measures :-

- Right to education right
- Developing minds
- Developing agricultural style
- Devel;oping New ideas
- Control in population
